Ron's Honey Cream Ale
Ron and I tried a few different Honey Ale recipes and we discovered that honey should only be used in a cream ale style. You don't want the hops to overpower the subtle flavours of the honey. The malting isn't too dark so really it is a nut brown style using honey. All in all we produced a smooth honey ale with a gentle finish of Chocolate/Crystal malt. The 2 litres of honey that goes in does help this brew pack a little extra punch in the Alcohol department. Cheers to you Ron.
