Bumble Beer
This mildly hopped, straw colored lager is made with 2 litres of pure honey (as well as lager malt and a bit of dextrose). Using a small dose of Hallertau hops we have created the first honey beer to be popular in BC. We were going to call this one after the Egyptian God of the sun "Ra". But we came up with bumble beer instead, you will see what we mean after you drink a few. Shaftsbury quickly jumped on the bandwagon and began producing their own version of a honey lager soon after us. Not long after Sleemans got into it as well. That is another story.
